Since our beginnings in 1908 Hardie & Thomson Ltd has been supplying Cantabrians and even more so all New Zealanders with high quality timber and joinery.

 Over the years Hardie & Thomson Ltd has changed and adapted to our ever-changing world. Going through multiple world and national events such as:

 
-         World war 1 (1914-1918)
-         Great Depression (1930’s)
-         Factory destroyed in fire (1933)
-         World war 2 (1939-1945)
-         Earthquakes (7.2 – 4^th Sept 2010; 6.3 – 22^nd Feb 2011)
 
These events have made us better equipped to help proved for those who have suffered the most from the more recent events get back on their feet and return to a normal life.
